It’s important to note that many midi loft beds with desk require the use of a standard UK single mattress (3ft/90x190cm) with wooden slatted bases. This is not included in the cost of the bed, so we recommend taking a look at our mattress deals to find one that fits your budget!

Mattress

Most midi beds use standard UK single mid sleeper bed with storage mattresses and the top bunk comes with a security rail for extra security. Some models have a fabulous pull out drawer that can be used for sleepovers or additional storage space beneath the bed. They can be open or fitted with doors (please see the product details for more details).

Many midi cabins include the option of a desk that can be moved between the two upper levels or chests of drawers. This gives children a bespoke space to store all their belongings, and there’s no need to use precious floor space with bulky wardrobes or shelving units.

Some models have gone one step further by adding cabinet-style storage that is flush mounted or a part of the headboard/footboard. This is perfect for storing books and toys.
